By 12. September 2020 No Comments

Hello fellow gamers, today im going to show you how you can play Geforce Now on Linux.

First of all you need to install chromium on your machine. Its up to you to use command or gui to install it. Gui would be „Add/Remove Software“>>search for Chromium>>Install Chromium.

Since im using Manjaro and pacman is my package manager my command would be sudo pacman -S chromium, for other distros which have APT use sudo apt-get install chromium.

After you have installed chromium you need to get an Chrome extension which is User-Agent Switcher for Chrome.

Now you are ready to go. Open the UA Switcher, with rightlick on the extension in the upper right corner of chromium and choose Options. Then create a new Custom User-Agent as shown in the screenshot with the following User-Agent-String: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; CrOS aarch64 13099.85.0) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/84.0.4147.110 Safari/537.36

Also set the Indicator-Flag ASX and save.

Ok, everything is now setup, navigate to extension again, leftclick it, select Chrome, then your newly created User-Agent wahtever name you have choosen and your ready.

Now you can open play.geforcenow.com login as ausual and you can now play all your games right in your browser on linux without the need of installing anything.
